Description: The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is the custodian of a significant portion of the wealth of public servants and, therefore, its mission is to: ensure the sustainability of the Fund; provide for efficient delivery of benefits; and empower its beneficiaries through effective communication. The GEPF is Africa’s largest pension fund with more that 1.2 million active members and single largest investor in Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE)-listed companies.

We do this by making sure that all funds in our safekeeping are responsibly invested and accounted for, and that benefits are paid out efficiently, accurately and on time.
