Description: The Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) is a defined benefit pension fund that is registered as a self-administered pension fund in terms of the Pension Funds Act of 1956 and approved as a pension fund in terms of the Income Tax Act of 1962.The EPPF is an independent legal entity, which is governed by a Board of Trustees. The EPPF has a membership base of around 46 900 in-service members, 2781 deferred pensioners and over 33 350 pensioners and beneficiaries, as at 30 June 2016.
